Member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Major General Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, received this evening Jordan's ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Ali Al-Kayed.
Major General Al-Zubaidi appreciated the brotherly and humanitarian role of Jordan's leadership, government and people towards Yemen, stressing that Jordan was at the forefront of the brotherly countries that opened its doors to Yemenis fleeing the hell of war and those seeking treatment and those coming to continue their studies.
The meeting also discussed consolidating brotherly relations between the two countries, enhancing bilateral cooperation in the security and military fields, building the capacities of government cadres and qualifying women.
In this regard, the Jordanian ambassador to Riyadh affirmed his country's readiness to provide support to the armed and security forces in Yemen in the field of training and rehabilitation after the devastation it suffered as a result of the war.
Ambassador Al-Kayed also renewed his country's government's position in support of efforts to bring peace and end the war in Yemen, which would restore security and stability to the region after years of conflict.
