Minister of Interior Maj. General Ibrahim Haidan held discussions today, Tuesday, with the Japanese Acting-Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen Kazoo Higashi over collaboration between the two countries in the field of security.
General Haidan sought for Japan's support in training and capacity building for the Yemeni security services, personnel, coast guards and Police College in Yemen.
He deeply appreciated Japan's support for the legitimate Yemeni government and peoples in different fields.
The Japanese diplomat stated that he is looking forward to further promote cooperation between the two countries in the security field.
