The Assistant Deputy of Minister of Planning and International Cooperation for the International Cooperation Sector, Mansour Zaid, discussed with the Director of ZOA International in Yemen and her deputy the level of the organization's interventions in the fields of water and livelihoods.
The meeting, held today, in the interim capital Aden, touched on the progress of implementing the plan of the organization's programs and projects, the challenges facing the implementation of projects, and the strengthening of cooperation and partnership between the ministry and the organization to serve the community.
Zaid stressed the importance of the organization's interventions in rural areas through the rehabilitation of a number of drinking water wells and provision of livelihoods for citizens and displaced people.
He expressed his aspiration to implement more humanitarian and developmental interventions that citizens need and have a positive and sustainable impact.
For her part, the director of the organization reviewed the level of implementation of the implemented and ongoing interventions and projects in the governorates of Al-Dhalea and Lahj, and the organization's efforts to mobilize funds from donors to implement more projects in the fields of water and livelihoods.
