Under-Secretary of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Mansour Baggash held discussions today, Thursday, with the Charged' Affairs of the Chinese embassy in the Republic of Yemen Chu Ch'ing over bilateral ties and coordination between the two countries.
Baggash touched upon Houthi militias' recent military escalation in some flashpoints , namely in Marib and Taiz fronts, calling on the International Community to mount pressures upon the militias and their sponsors to maintain the truce, establish peace.
The Chinese diplomat condemned Houthi militias' attacks on the motorcade of the Minister of Defense, Chief of General Staff and Governor of Taiz governorate.
Mr. Ch'ing reiterates China's support for the Presidential Leadership Council, its efforts to maintain Yemen's security, stability and the UN-led efforts to produce political settlement to the Yemeni crisis.
