Prime Minister Ma'een Abdulmalik has directed Ministry of Social and Labor Affairs to double efforts in performing its responsibilities in these difficult conditions and activating all sectors in the ministry.
Presiding over a meeting to leadership of the ministry on Thursday, prime minister confirmed the important role of the ministry in organizing activities of the social affairs and leading of the humanitarian voluntary work, as well as duties of social care, labor markets and social protection.
He was acquainted with a report from the ministry and its sectors on the ongoing work and challenges it faces and mechanisms to overcome them, as well as activities of the ministry to the past period and its plan for 2023.
The meeting also discussed problems facing social care centers and means of putting solutions to these problems as demanded.
Prime Minister confirmed significance of integrating efforts on formal and popular level in different fields associated with serving the society.
