Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik initiated the actions of the Global Money Week today, Monday, in the temporary capital Aden with a participation of 27 organizations include Yemeni banks, civil, educational and media institutions.
Dr. Ma'een delivered a keynote speech in which he underscored the importance of the contribution to the Global Money Week to promote the financial culture in the community, particularly among the children and youth segments.
He stated that the government is keen to support such activities and the stability of the Yemeni banks, promote transparency and financial governance.
The Governor of the Central Bank of Yemen (YCB) Ahemd Ghalib described the contribution to the Global Week Money in Aden is an important event because it is the first of its kind to take place in Aden since the CBY has been relocated in Aden.
He provided an informative presentation about the CBY's reforms and achievements and its future plans.
