Member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Othman Mujalli, arrived in the Qatari capital, Doha, today to participate in the Fifth United Nations Conference on the Least Developed Countries (LDC5 ) which will be held from 5 to 9 March, in the presence of a large number of heads of states and governments and the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres. and relevant international and regional organizations.
"Our country's participation in this conference is meant to showcase the suffering of the Yemenis from the Houthi militia's war against the Yemeni state and people, which has caused them more damage than the suffering of the least developed countries," Mujalli said during his arrival at Doha airport in a remark to the press.
He added, "The Houthi militia committed the most heinous crimes against the Yemeni people, pushed them to the brink of poverty and malnutrition, deprived them of their right to a decent life, recruited child soldiers, confiscated public and private property, killed women and displaced children."
Mujalli stressed that, with the Houthi war, Yemen has turned from a developing country into a less developed country. He pointed out that the crimes committed by the Houthi militias have risen to what is greater than natural disasters.
