Member of the Presidential Leadership Council Othman Mujalli said " The continuation of weapons smuggling to the Terrorist Houthi militia through watched sea and land passages and different ways is inconsistent with the international community's suggestions and ideas about peace in Yemen and it is worsening the suffering of the exhausted Yemeni people."

As he met today, Tuesday, with the British Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen Richard Oppenheim he added "We want peace and accept it within the limits of national principles, acknowledged resolutions and the main relevant references, a peace that prevents the appropriation of rights, freedoms and maintains our peoples' right to power and opposition, freedom of belief, doctrine, movement, open roads, remove constraints".

Mujalli stated that al-Houthi does not work in line with national or Yemeni agenda, he rather acts per the order of Iran, it is one of the Iranian regime's factions in the region, the Houthis aren't a political partner, but rather a terrorist military organization akin to al-Qaeda and ISIS.

He went on saying Iran considers al-Houthi as a subordinate provides it with foothold in Yemen so that it can take control over the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandab Strait.

"The Presidential Leadership Council's responsibility is to stand against the Iranian interference and expansionist malevolent notions that aim to tear the Yemeni social fabric", said Mujalli.

The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council touched upon the Houthi militias' terrorist and racist practices, cited a list of the grave violations and atrocities of the militiamen against the Yemeni people in the militias-controlled regions.

The British Ambassador stated that his government is keen to further promote bilateral relation between the two countries, to support the efforts to make peace, sustain the Yemeni economy and fight terrorism in collaboration with the Presidential Leadership Council and the Coalition in support legality in Yemen led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

The British diplomat condemned the Houthis' atrocities and violations against the Yemeni people and the attacks on the economic facilities.
