Operating Makha International Airport discussed

Member of the Presidential Leadership Council Tareq Saleh discussed Thursday with Chairman of Civil Aviation and Metrology Captain Saleh bin Nuhaid preparations for operating Makha International Airport.

In the meeting, which included General Director of Planning and Projects in the Authority Yahya al-Kaf and Director of Makha Airport Khaled Abdullatif, Saleh confirmed that the process of monitoring and operating the airport will be the responsibility of the Aviation Authority and Metrology and Ministry of Transport as the legally-entrusted bodies in managing air transport.

The meeting discussed the role of the government in speeding up procedures needed for operating the airport and launching foreign flights from it as international airport with international specifications.
