Deputy Governor of Marib Abd-Rabbu Miftah discussed Wednesday with World Health Organization and Dutch Doctors without Borders organization, separately, expanding their humanitarian interventions to support health sector.
The meeting touched upon interventions of sustainable impact, which realize response to displaced people and hosting community.
Miftah confirmed, during his meeting with Representative of WHO Henzlman Ante and Director of MSF Operations Korein Penazech, significance of directing interventions on infrastructure projects of health sector to meet increasing numbers of displaced people.
Meanwhile, Director of Public Health and Population Office in Marib Ahmad al-Abadi reviewed health situations in hospitals and medical centers and improving their performance and combating pandemics.
For their part, the representatives of the two organizations confirmed their readiness to boost partnership with local authority and providing necessary capabilities to support health programs and projects.
