Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, Muammar Al-Eryani, said, "The Saudi signing of a deposit agreement with the Central Bank of Yemen in the amount of one billion dollars, and depositing it entirely in the account of the Central Bank of Yemen, is an extension of the constructive role of the Kingdom and their unlimited support for the Yemeni government and people in light of the circumstances" and extraordinary situation that our country is going through.

Muammar Al-Eryani added, in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), "The Saudi deposit will contribute to the recover of the economy, the stability of the national currency, the improvement of its exchange rate against foreign currencies, the support of the Central Bank's reserves of foreign exchange, and enabling it to play its role in the economic process, and the decline in food prices." consumer goods, and ease the burden on citizens.

Al-Eryani pointed out that the signing of the deposit agreement coincided with the arrival of the third batch of the Saudi oil derivatives grant to the port of Aden with quantities of 45,000 metric tons of diesel and 30,000 liter tons of diesel, and the operation of Aden Hospital after its rehabilitation and equipment with funding from the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen.
