Deputy Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Dr. Nizar Basuhaib discussed with the Director of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in Yemen, Sajid Muhammad efforts to mobilize funds for the humanitarian response plan in Yemen for the year 2023 AD.
The meeting, which was held in the interim capital Aden today touched on the roles of OCHA in supporting humanitarian work, and the joint efforts between the two sides to move towards implementing more permanent interventions that meet the needs and priorities of the current difficult situation and alleviate the suffering of those affected by the situation and war in the country.
The Deputy Minister of Planning also discussed with the Director of the Save the Children Organization in Yemen the level of interventions in the field of child care, and also discussed with the Director of the Geneva Call Organization in Yemen the progress of the organization's work and the implementation of its activities in accordance with the agreements in this regard.
