Minister of Local Administration Hussein al-Aghbari discussed Wednesday with Director of Developing Local Areas Program of UNDP Stefan Smith livelihood projects providing work opportunities to youth and improving their skills.
Projects of developing woman, especially rural woman and encouraging agricultural and fishery production were also discussed.
Al-Aghbari confirmed keenness of the government on facilitating the work of the UN organizations and coordination with them to help them implement their developmental projects.
He praised the role of the UNDP in Yemen and praised its efforts of implementing the Institutional and Economic Flexibility Program in Yemen as the program helps in creating developmental environment to local authorities.
