Yemen's Permanent Representative to the UN Ambassador Abdullah Assa'di held discussions today, Tuesday, here with the Special Envoy of the United States to Yemen Timothy Lenderking over the political developments in the Yemeni national arena and the ongoing efforts aiming to reach political settlement to the conflict on the basis of the agreed on terms of peace first and foremost the UNSCR 22016.
Assa'di praised the significant and continuous support of the United States for the peace efforts, deeply appreciating its contribution to the humanitarian actions to mitigate the humanitarian suffering in Yemen.
For his part Mr. Lenderking reiterated the US administration's support for the ongoing efforts to reach political solution to the conflict in Yemen.
