Prime Minister: Stability, empowering State's institutions the guarantee to realize peace, financial, security collapse unbearable
[14/02/2023 05:23]

DUBAI-SABA
Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik argued that establishing effective functioning State institutions in the countries suffering conflicts a key factor and recipe for a solution to contain the situations, maintain stability and overcome the challenges.

Speaking at key session of the World Governments Summit in Dubai, today, Tuesday, he restated that stability and strengthening the State's institutions is the guarantee to achieve peace given that the collapse of the financial and security systems and the State's institutions is unbearable.

He provided an informative presentation about the multiple challenges facing the countries which are undergoing armed conflicts, citing the Yemeni government's policy and role in handling the current situations due to the Houthi militias' coup and triggering the war which has been continuing since the late of 2014.

The Prime Minister has made it clear that rescuing Yemen and its peoples can be achieved through the continuation of regional and international support, maintaining the State's institutions and pushing forward the efforts to establish fair peace to end the war which has been ongoing since 8 years.

He said" Yemen has been going through very difficult and critical stage due to the war and Houthi militia's coup, taking over the capital Sana'a and the central state's institutions. We do confirm at this forum to the regional and international partners that supporting Yemen and the national institutions is the corner stone, it is not a political support or for the leadership but it is for the Yemeni people".

He went on saying" Yemen's ability to survive is depleting as the national economy has contracted to the half, with the Houthis' recent terrorist attacks on oil seaports the country has lost about $800 million".
