Al-Eryani calls for blacklisting Houthi leaders recruiting children
[09/02/2023 06:57]
ADEN-SABA

Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Muamar al-Eryani has denounced Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militia's changing schools into camps, which is a war crime against humanity.

Houthi militia has transformed classrooms into halls for training young children on using light and medium-size weapons and dragging them to death in warfronts, which is one of the biggest crimes against education and childhood in Yemen, said al-Eryani in a statement to Saba.

He pointed out that these criminal practices remind us of scenes of training children on using weapons by terrorist elements of Daesh and al-Qaeda in special camps.

He warned of future disastrous results of the process of training children and changing classrooms into training halls as a price Yemeni people will pay it for generations to come.

Al-Eryani demanded the international community, United Nations and organizations interested in protecting children to do their legal duties towards this malicious crime and work on making blacklist to Houthi leaders involved in recruiting children.
