The Executive Unit for the Management of IDPs Camps launched its latest annual report on the humanitarian needs of displaced families in 13 governorates in the liberated areas.
The report, entitled "The Humanitarian Needs of the Displaced 2023", revealed that there are nearly three million displaced people in 11 governorates, namely Aden, Lahj, Al-Dhalea, Abyan, Taiz, Al-Jawf, Marib, Shabwa, Hadramout, Al-Mahrah, Socotra, Al-Hodeidah, and Hajjah, and are scattered in 646 camps and 927 population centers in 105 districts.
The needs of the displaced covered by the report include shelter, non-food items, water and sanitation needs, health needs, education and protection needs.
The report reveals that the number of displaced persons in the liberated governorates reached 486,572 families and 3,078,336 individuals, of whom 483,330 are in IDPs camps, 2,604,006 are in houses in the liberated provinces.
