During the fourth week of January 2023, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) managed to remove 1,081 mines planted by the terrorist Houthi militia in various regions of Yemen, including 14 anti-personnel mines, 167 anti-tank mines, and 899 UXOs, and one explosive device.

According to the official Saudi agency, SPA, the Masam team cleared 62 anti-tank mines and 205 unexploded ordnance in Aden governorate, 18 unexploded ordnance in Qataba district in Al-Dhalea governorate, 28 anti-tank mines, 144 unexploded ordnance and one anti-personnel mine in Hays district in Al-Dhalea governorate and Hodeidah.

In Shabwa, the Masam team was able to clear one anti-tank mine in the Raghwan district, one anti-personnel mine, 23 anti-tank mines and 3 unexploded ordnance in the Ain district, and 3 anti-personnel mines and 30 anti-tank mines in the Asilan district.
