In a recent report, Taqassi Organization for Development and Human Rights documented "hundreds of violations that affected the people of Hajjah Governorate during the year 2022 AD, which varied between killing, injury, planting mines and explosive devices, kidnappings, arbitrary arrests, housebreaking, looting of private property, and bombing." civilians, and the imposition of nefarious taxes.

The report also included violations against children and women and others related to the educational process, banning social events and student graduation ceremonies, dismantling the social fabric, and obstructing the work of organizations working in the humanitarian field.

The report revealed the involvement of the Houthi militia in killing 10 civilians, including 3 children, as a result of the explosion of mines and explosive devices, and two children as a result of torture and drone strikes. It also revealed the occurrence of (3) cases of parricide carried out by returnees from Houthi warfronts and sectarian brainwashing courses.

The report documented that (12) civilians, including (4) children, were injured as a result of mines and explosive devices, and two children as a result of the Houthi drone bombing. The report confirmed that (188) civilians were kidnapped and illegally arrested by the Houthi militia, including (45) women in the city of Hajjah, while (15) abductees were subjected to enforced disappearance, and (4) of them are still forcibly disappeared since their abduction.
