Ambassador al-Sallal reconfirmed keenness of the Presidential Leadership Council of just and inclusive peace approach to ensure partnership of all Yemeni people in authority and wealth and support to efforts of the UN to revive the political process in Yemen on the bases of the three agreed upon references, the GCC Initiative, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and Security Council Resolution 2216.
He praised support of Canada to Yemen, especially in political and humanitarian domains, confirming significance of supporting developmental and economic programs to contribute in alleviating humanitarian suffering.
For his part, the Canadian official confirmed his country's support to the Humanitarian Response Plan in Yemen and support to UN efforts to extend the truce and expanding it to reach a permanent and inclusive peace ending suffering of Yemeni people.
