Parliament Speaker Sheikh Sultan al-Barakani met Tuesday with Minister of National Education and Basic and Sport Education of Morocco Shakeeb Banmosa discussing with him treaties between Yemen and Morocco and Moroccan support to Yemeni people.
For his part, the Moroccan Minister confirmed their rejection to Iranian interferences in Yemen's internal affairs, uttering readiness of his ministry to support educational and sport sector in Yemen.
On the other hand, Parliament Speaker al-Barakani and the accompanying delegation met Tuesday with the General Director of Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization Salem bin Mohammad al-Malek discussing with him promoting cooperation between the organization and Yemen in field of education, science and culture.
He praised efforts of the organization and its improvement during the past year, pointing out necessity of proceeding with joint efforts in protecting Yemeni cultural heritage.
For his part, al-Malek confirmed that the organization is communicating with its member countries through coordination with national committees of education, sciences and culture to study needs and priorities of every country.
He pointed out that the organization gives Yemen big care, especially in field of education and protecting Yemen's heritage.
