Member of the Presidential Leadership Council Maj. General Aidarous Azubaidi highly praised the good relations between Yemen and both of Poland and Portugal republics, deeply appreciating their supportive stances in support of the legitimate Yemeni leadership represented by the Presidential Leadership Council.

His comments came during his meetings today, Sunday, in his residence here in Saudi capital Riyadh, with the two ambassadors of Finland and Portugal to Yemen.

Azubaidi's conversations with the two European diplomats focused on the political and humanitarian situations in our country and the efforts to stop the war, establish peace amid Houthi militias' escalation in all fighting fronts, including the terrorist attacks on oil export seaports.

General Azubaid confirmed the Presidential Leadership Council's desire to further promote Yemen's bilateral relations with Finland and Portugal in different fields.

The two Ambassadors of Finland and Portugal have confirmed their own governments' support for the underway regional and international efforts to establish peace in Yemen and to contribute to the humanitarian actions to mitigate the humanitarian crisis Yemen has been enduring due to the war.
