Minister of Information Muammar Al-Eryani condemned in the strongest terms the terrorist Houthi militia affiliated with Iran for placing in trial 4 social media celebrities, Ahmed Hajar, Mustafa Al-Moumri, Ahmed Allaw and Hammoud Al-Misbahi, on fabricated malicious charges two weeks after they were kidnapped and forcibly disappeared, on the grounds of their criticism of the militia's corruption and the difficult living conditions in the areas under their control.

In a statement to the Yemeni news agency (Saba), Muammar al-Eryani said that this mock trial in an illegal court is an extension of the acts of repression and abuse practiced by the Houthi militia against media professionals and journalists since its coup, dragging them to the courts and issuing death sentences against them, with the aim of terrorizing them, silencing their voices, and preventing them from reporting the facts, covering up the crimes and violations committed against civilians.
