Dep. Governor of Marib discusses with ACTED its humanitarian intervention plan for the year 2023

Deputy Governor of Marib, Dr. Abd-Rabbu Miftah, discussed today with the director of the French ACTED office in the governorate the organization's humanitarian intervention plan in the governorate for the year 2023 in various humanitarian fields.

The Deputy Governor expressed the appreciation of the local authority for the humanitarian interventions of the organization, which contribute to alleviating the suffering of the displaced and the host community stressing that the gap in needs is still large and widening, especially in the harsh winter of the camps, where the displaced suffer from the harsh cold and frost waves in worn-out tents, and miserable economic conditions.

ACTED director gave the deputy governor of Marib an explanation about the interventions implemented by the organization in the governorate during the past year in the field of shelter and mobile housing for the displaced, in addition to rehabilitating water and environmental sanitation projects, which amounted to 12 projects in the camps of the Valley Directorate, in addition to eight projects included in this year's plan according to humanitarian needs map.
