Foreign Minister meets with Speaker of Turkish Parliament

Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Ahmed BinMubarak met today, Thursday, with the Speaker of the Turkish Parliament Mustafa Sentop.
They discussed aspects of Yemeni-Turkish relations and cooperation including the parliamentary cooperation.
The conversations also covered topical issues in the Yemeni landscape.
BinMuabark briefed Sentop on the situations in Yemen citing the Terrorist Houthi militias' attacks on the oil and economic facilities that have further exacerbated the humanitarian situations.
He also explained the militias' grave violations and atrocities against the Yemeni peoples including promoting sectarian divisive ideology, pillaging the peoples' properties and public funds, recruiting children and planting massive amount of landmines.
The Foreign Minister mentioned the Yemeni government's decision about designating the Houthi militias as a "Terrorist Organization", underscoring the importance of upholding this decision by the international community to contribute to reducing the militias' crimes and violations.
For his part the Speaker of Turkish Parliament confirmed Turkey's support for the legitimate Yemeni government and its efforts achieve peace all over Yemen and maintain Yemen's unity, security and stability.
