The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center signed today, in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, a joint cooperation agreement with a civil society organization, to ensure access to a safe and comprehensive educational environment in a number of Yemeni governorates, within the framework of the Kingdom's grant to support the humanitarian response plan in Yemen, benefiting more than 16,000 students and educational staff.
The Director of the Community Support Department at the Center, Dr. Hana Omar, explained that, according to the agreement, works will start to expand 10 schools by adding and equipping 28 classrooms, rehabilitating and equipping 10 other schools, distributing educational tools for male and female teachers, and providing psychological and educational support programs for male and female students.
