Parliament Speaker Sheikh Sultan al-Barakani held Wednesday a meeting for the Security Committee in Taiz discussing security situation in the city.
In the meeting, which included Governor Nabeel Shamsan, judges and military commanders, al-Barakani praised heroic battles by the national army in beating Houthi terrorist militia and liberating vast areas of the province.
Finalizing liberating all Taiz's areas from Houthi terrorist militia is a key issue must not be retreated under Houthi militia's crimes against civilians in Taiz, said al-Barakani, confirming that tightening security and stability, arresting wanted persons and tackling security faults defaming Taiz and the national army in it.
For his part, Taiz Governor Nabeel Shamsan confirmed significance of the visit of Parliament Speaker to Taiz for inspecting the situations and latest developments in it.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Commander of Taiz Military Pivot Abdulaziz al-Majidi reviewed a report on situations in warfronts and victories accomplished by the national army and popular resistant in deterring Houthi terrorist militia.
Parliament Speaker and the accompanying officials toured Taiz city and inspected the destruction left by Houthi terrorist militia's war on Taiz.
