The Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, met today, on the sidelines of his participation in the Rome-Mediterranean Dialogues Forum, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Palestine, Riyad Al-Malki, in order to review developments in the situation in Yemen and Palestine and the coordination between the two brotherly countries in regional and international forums.

During the meeting, bin Mubarak reaffirmed Yemen's firm and principled position in support of the Palestinian cause, pointing to the centrality of the Palestinian cause for Yemen, despite the exceptional circumstances it is going through.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs touched on the overall developments on the Yemeni scene, appreciating the Arab role in support of the government and its efforts to achieve peace and restore security and stability.

Bin Mubarak listened to an explanation from Minister Al-Maliki regarding the situation in Palestine and the occupied territories and the challenges facing the Palestinian Authority.

In his speech, the Palestinian Foreign Minister affirmed the State of Palestine's support for Yemen and its support for the government and the unity, security and stability of Yemen.
