Riyadh - Saba
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia condemned the continued targeting of civilian objects and economic facilities by the terrorist Houthi militia in Yemen.
The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed in a statement published by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) that this targeting is what confirms the militia’s continuous approach to increasing the suffering of the Yemeni people and its permanent rejection of all international efforts and initiatives, while continuing to target civil and economic facilities, supplies of global energy corridors, safety of navigation and international trade.
The Ministry renewed the Kingdom's stand and its full solidarity with the Republic of Yemen, affirming the Kingdom's position calling for stopping the continued flow of weapons to the terrorist Houthi militia, preventing their export to the Yemeni interior, and ensuring that they do not violate United Nations resolutions.
The Ministry of also affirmed the Kingdom's firm position in supporting the Yemeni people, and the importance of providing the necessary support for the Presidential Leadership Council to achieve sustainable peace in Yemen.
