Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Ahmed BinMubarak sought for greater support from the Islamic world Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) in Yemen to help preserving Yemen's cultural heritage.
As he met today, Monday, here with Director General of the ICESCO Dr. Salim bin Mohammed al-Malik on the sideline of the Universal Forum of the Civilizations Alliance's sessions in Rabat, he highlighted the pressing need for further support by the ICESCO to preserve the Yemeni cultural heritage.
BinMubark touched upon the devastating consequences of the war-triggered by Iran-backed Terrorist Houthi militias upon all walks of life including educational, cultural and humanitarian ones. The ICESCO Director explained the organization's programs and activities have been carried out in Yemen, promising more support for Yemen at this critical stage.
