The Ambassador of Yemen in Ottawa, Jamal Al-Sallal, discussed today with the Canadian Deputy Minister of International Development the bilateral relations between the two countries and development and humanitarian cooperation.
Al-Sallal touched on developments in the situation in Yemen and its developments at various levels, stressing the Yemeni government's keenness to achieve permanent and comprehensive peace.
For his part, the Canadian official affirmed his country's support for the efforts of the UN envoy to establish peace and restore security and stability in Yemen, and Canada's support for the humanitarian response plan.
