RIYADH-SABA
Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ahmad Awadh BinMubarak discussed Wednesday with French Ambassador to Yemen Jan Marie Safa latest developments in Yemen under Houthi terrorist militia escalation and foiling peace efforts.
He made it clear that the government of Yemen is implementing the decision of the Defense Council designating Houthi militia a terrorist organization, pointing out that the militia aggression and rejection to peace calls will reflex high price on it.
He renewed call for adopting UN realistic rapprochement in dealing with Houthi militia after the international community understanded the militia's aggressive nature and its threat to security and peace in Yemen and the region.
BinMubarak pointed out that the Presidential Leadership Council believes in peace and significance of realizing it but the lack of a real partner in peace process has aborted all efforts exerted for helping Yemen to come out from its crisis.
For his part, the French diplomat pointed out to his country's position supporting Yemen's legitimacy and exerting all possible efforts to solve Yemen's crisis and realizing peace.
He confirmed his country's support to Yemen's unity, security and stability.
