The terrorist attack by Iran-backed Houthi militias on the seaport of Qena in Shabwa governorate has withdrawn strong condemnation regionally and international.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Bahrain, Kuwait and Arab Parliament all issued statements decried the militias' attack targeted a commercial oil ship was unloading its cargo at Qena harbor on Thursday, November 10, 2022.

The Ambassadors of the United States, France, the United Kingdom and the EU Mission in to Yemen also voiced condemnation of the terrorist attack on the commercial vessel, calling for ending such operations that will further exacerbate the Yemeni peoples' suffering.

The Houthi militias' terrorist attack on the commercial ship is widely condemned as a terrorist operation and blatant violation of the Seas Law, maritime navigation and international conventions.
