Prime Minister confirms keenness on adapting conditions for private sector's work

Prime Minister Maeen Abdulmalik has confirmed keenness of the government on and the Presidential Leadership Council on adapting suitable conditions for the work of the Private Sector and providing more facilitations to support its efforts in activating investment and ensuring provision of basic goods and keeping prices stable.

Presiding over a joint meeting for the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Aden and the Private Sector, Prime Minister pointed out to the positive impact of reforms carried out by the government and realized economic stability since the begging of 2022, pointing out that the government will continue reforms and tackle all challenges facing the private sector.

He directed holding regular meetings for the ministry of industry, chamber of commerce and the general authority for investments to tackle challenges one by one and preparations for special activities to regain national investments and directing them to national sectors helping in improving economic situation.

He pointed out to the role of the private sector in normalizing conditions, especially under the crisis of food security and providing food reserve to realize supply stability.

He stressed significance of transferring from consuming investments into productive ones and networking with private sector of neighboring countries to open strategic investments and reactivating chambers of commerce between Yemen and regional countries.
