Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik held deliberations today, Wednesday, with the European Union (EU) Mission in Yemen and a number of Ambassadors of the EU countries.
The discussions which conducted via video conference dealt with the latest developments in the Yemeni arena amid the dangerous military escalation by the Terrorist Houthi Militias, particularly the militiamen's attacks on the nation's crucial interests.
The virtual discussions touched upon the European stances against the Houthis' escalation and the required coordination to deal with the militias' intransigence and insistence on rejecting the UN's proposals and international efforts to renew the humanitarian truce and push the political solution.
The Prime Minister has made it clear that the Houthi militia's continuous escalation, war-crimes against the Yemeni peoples and seriously targeting the energy resources is an indication that these militias backed by the Iranian regime have never sought for peace, nor peace has been an option for them.
The EU's diplomats reiterated their condemnation of the Houthi militia's attacks on the oil facilities and threats to international maritime navigation.
