Security forces in Shabwa arrested a Houthi terrorist cell have been preparing for carrying out criminal acts targeting a number of leaders in the province including Governor Awadh bin Al-Wazeer, a number of leaderships of the Arab Coalition and other security and military leaders in Shabwa.
A security source told Saba that the Houthi terrorist cell have planted two explosive devices past October, the first one targeted the Tasks Brigade of Al-Amaliqah Brigades in Attaq and went off in a military vehicle injuring the driver and street venders.
And on the 20th of October, the terrorist cell bombed another explosive device put alongside the road at the al-Shaheed Qatan Street and targeted a military vehicle was carrying a former Security Director in the province, killing his son and injuring three others.
The explosion also caused material damages in stores and houses of citizens and the security forces were able to discover and mantle a number of explosive devices.
