Prime Minister Dr. Maeen Abdul-Malik directed the military and security services in Shabwa to intensify their efforts to confront the movements of terrorist cells, pursue their elements, and thwart the plans of the terrorist Houthi militia to target vital sites and destabilize security and stability.

During a telephone conversation with the governor of Shabwa, head of the security committee, Awad bin al-Wazir, the prime minister confirmed that the government, under the directives of the Presidential leadership Council, supports all efforts of the local authority and its military and security services to confront sabotage and terrorist operations that seek to confuse the security scene in Shabwa, stressing the strengthening of intelligence work to detect terrorist elements and cells, thwarting their plans, and prosecuting anyone who may be tempted to prejudice the security and stability of the province, and bring them to legal justice, so that they may receive their just and deterrent punishment.

Dr. Moeen Abdul-Malik, from the governor of Shabwa, was briefed on a report on the overall situation in the governorate, including the existing coordination with the Coalition to deter Houthi terrorist threats against oil companies and vital interests in the governorate, and what has been taken in this regard.

The Prime Minister reiterated that the behavior of the terrorist Houthi militia does not only reflect a catastrophic disregard for the interests of the Yemeni people, but rather a challenge to all requirements of stability in the region.
