Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Muammer al-Eryani held discussions here today, Monday, with the Secretary General and Chairman of the German Goethe-Institute Johannes Ebert.
The conversations intended to explore collaboration between the Yemeni cultural institutions and the Goethe-Institute.
The Minister highlighted the need for the Goethe-Institute's cultural activities in the temporary capital Aden in collaboration with Aden University.
Al-Eryan detailed Mr. Ebert on the challenges facing the Yemeni cultural institutions amid Houthi militia's racist-sectarian policy and actions aiming to promote Iranian- style sectarian and cultural attitudes.
