Cairo – Saba
The Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, condemned the Houthi coup militia's attempt to target the Dabba oil port in Hadhramaut with two drones.
The spokesman for the Secretary-General of the League, Jamal Rushdi, said in a statement today, that the dangerous Houthi escalation at this time represents a disregard and a challenge to the tireless international and regional efforts aimed at renewing the extension of the armistice in Yemen, and reveals once again the true face of the Houthi group.
He pointed out that the Houthi militia's targeting of oil ports will further deteriorate the humanitarian situation in Yemen, and would cause pollution to the marine environment, appealing to the relevant international parties to continue to fulfill their humanitarian obligations and fill the humanitarian funding gap in Yemen.
