Foreign Minister confers with UN's envoy over Houthis' terrorist attacks on oil facilities

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Ahmed BinMubarak spoke on phone on Friday evening with the Special Envoy of the UN's Secretary General to Yemen Hans Grundberg about the repercussions of Iran-backed Houthi militias' terrorist attacks on the two oil harbors of Radhom and Adhaba which targeted by drones and missiles attacks within the course of the militia's declared threats against oil companies and international navigation.

BinMubarak stated that these terrorist actions constitute a direct aggression on the Yemeni peoples and nation's infrastructure and economic capacities, they also seriously undermine the underway efforts aiming to end the war, extend the truce and achieve peace in Yemen.

The Foreign Minister has made it clear that by carrying out these attacks Houthi militias have once again proved that they will never be a genuine partner of peace, they are rather a terrorist group constitutes threat to peace and stability in Yemen and the region.

BinMubarak called on the UN to take a more firm and stronger stance against the Houthis' terrorist threats, punish the perpetrators and protect regional and international peace and security.
