Minister of Water announces allotting $5 million to support Safer rescuing plan

Minister of Water and Environment Eng. Tawfiq Asharjabi announced that Yemen allocating $5 million from Yemen's assigned expanses for environment to contribute to finance the UN's coordinated Plan to rescue Safer Oil Tanker off coasts of Hodeidah in the Red Sea.
Asharjabi's announcement came during his contribution today, Thursday, to the 33rd Session of the Council of Arab Ministers in charge of environment held in Cairo.
The Minister called on the UN to accelerate efforts to put its coordinated plan in place in order to avert the Tanker's looming environmental disaster.
