The Republic of Yemen contributed today, Wednesday, to the Investment Forum about "Hand-in-Hand Initiative" held in the Italian capital Rome.
The gathering is organized by the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).
Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Fishery Salim Assoqatri Yemen's delegation.
In his contribution to the discussions Assoqatri touched upon challenges Yemen has been facing in terms of food security, citing Houthi militia-triggered war as the first and foremost of all.
He also explained the promising investment opportunities in the areas of agriculture and fishery in Yemen.
