Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Ahmed BinMubarak met today, Sunday, here with the French Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen Jean-Marie SAFA.
They discussed underway efforts to extend the UN-brokered truce amid Houthi militia's unhelpful attitude that continues to block these efforts.
BinMubarak stated that Houthi militias' obstinacy has made it clear that they neither seek to achieve peace nor care about putting an end of humanitarian disaster the Yemenis are experiencing.
The Foreign Minister noted that the Presidential Leadership Council and government have offered everything that can help moving to peace to achieve the Yemeni peoples' aspirations to end the war, re-establish security and stability but the militias avoided to fulfill the truce agreement's articles, they are seeking to spoil all benefits made for the Yemeni people over recent months.
The French Ambassador said his country is standing with legality in Yemen, doing every effort to contribute toward solving the crisis, make peace.
Mr. SAFA confirmed France's support for Yemen's unity, security and stability.
