A delegation of the House of Representatives, headed by the Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Engineer Mohsen Ali Basura, participated in the conclusion of the sessions of the ruling council and the General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union on the sidelines of its participation in the 145th session of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, held in the Rwandan capital Kigali.

The closing sessions, chaired by the President of the Union of International Parliamentarians, in the presence of members of the House of Representatives, Saleh Al-Amiri, Abbas Al-Nahari and Dr. Muhammad Al-Sharafi, reviewed a report on the activity of the President of the Union, his visits and meetings and was approved, in addition to the report submitted by the Secretary-General on the work of the IPU and was approved, and a discussion Resolutions related to the human rights of parliamentarians and reports of specialized meetings and permanent committees.

The participants listened to the report of the task force committee formed to bridge the views between Russia and Ukraine headed by Dr. Ali Al-Nuaimi to bring peace and stop the war, and the union demanded the continuation of its work and efforts.
