Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ahmad Awadh BinMubarak discussed Tuesday with Swiss Envoy for the Middle East Wolfang Amadeus Bruelhar through visual communication technology latest developments in Yemen, nature of Swiss position towards situations in Yemen and US Initiative Security Project for Geneva Center on Security Sector's Governance.

Minister BinMubarak expressed appreciation to Swiss position towards Yemen and significance of coordinating the two country's positions, especially when Switzerland assumes its membership in the Security Council on January.

BinMubarak touched upon Houthi militia's negative position towards extending truce and elaborating its term and the militia's willingly hindering of peaceful settlement to drag Yemen back to the state of war and escalating it to include threats to navigation in the Red Sea and targeting international oil interests in Yemen and the region.

He made it clear that the government made big concessions for the interest of Yemeni people for peace and for alleviating suffering over the humanitarian crisis created by Houthi militia's war on Yemeni people.

For his part, the Swiss envoy confirmed his country's support to Yemen, its stability, unity, sovereignty and independence, pointing out to significance of resuming initiatives, proposals and projects to the peaceful solution on the bases of the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference as a refence to inclusive solution.
