The Ambassador of Yemen in Tokyo, Adel Al-Sunaini, handed over a copy of his credentials to Japanese Deputy Foreign Minister Mori Takeo.
During the meeting, Al-Sunaini discussed with the Deputy Minister the latest developments in Yemen and the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways to enhance and develop them. The Japanese Deputy Foreign Minister affirmed the ambassador's support to facilitate his tasks and to enhance bilateral cooperation on issues of common concern.
He stressed his country's firm and supportive position for Yemen and its legitimate government, and support for efforts aimed at bringing peace and restoring security and stability in Yemen.
