A meeting that was held via visual communication today, and included the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Roads and Bridges Maintenance Fund, Eng. Moeen Al-Mas, and the city engineer, representative of the United Nations Office for Project Service (UNOPS), Eng.
Ramses Younes, discussed the final preparations for the implementation of 4 road rehabilitation projects in the governorates of Aden, Lahj, Hadhramout and Taiz funded by the World Bank through UNEPS.
The meeting, with the participation of a number of representatives of the concerned authorities, aims to complete the final preparations with the local partners in the Public Works Project, the Roads and Bridges Maintenance Fund represented by the Internationally Funded Projects Implementation Unit and the Urban Water Unit, to implement projects that include the Back Prison street linking the intersection of the Nineteen Road to the Al Kathiri roundabout.
In the Mansoura district in Aden (length of 1.2 km), the main street in the city of Al-Houta in Lahj (3.35 km long), the street extending from the Al-Saqr Club roundabout to Taiz University (1.36 km long), and Boyesh bridge in Mukalla in Hadramout (450 meters long).
