RIYADH - SABA
Member of the Presidential Leadership Council Othman Mujalli received Tuesday Egyptian Non-Resident Ambassador to Yemen Ahmad Farooq discussing with him latest developments in Yemen and Egyptian support to the government in facing Iranian agenda and regaining the state.
Mujalli confirmed that the government maintains peace choice and is ready to all probabilities, peace or war depending on Houthi militia's approach.
" Houthi militia insists on rejecting regional and international calls to realize peace and continue recruitment and complicating suffering of citizens in their held areas through its rejection of paying salaries and creating fuel crises from time to time to realize material results of financing their war against Yemenis," said Mujalli.
He added that Houthi militia rejects to be a partner in peace and former incidents proved that the militia always breaches agreements and understandings as it dealt with Stockholm Agreement and recent breach to UN Truce's articles to open roads to Taiz.
The meeting touched upon threats posed by the militia against safety of maritime navigation serving Iranian agenda in Yemeni, regional and international waters.
He praised Egyptian role supporting Yemen's legitimacy as extension to its Arabic role in the 26th of September Revolution, confirming keenness of Yemen on making use of Egyptian successful experiments in fields of electricity, education, health and others.
For his part, the Egyptian diplomat reconfirmed his country's support to the legitimate authority in Yemen and his country's readiness to help Yemen in different domains.
