Yemen Says Houthi Militia Poses Direct Threat to Regional Peace, Condemns Attacks on Gulf Infrastructure
Yemen has affirmed that the Iran-backed Houthi militia poses a direct threat to regional peace and security and to international navigation, saying the group is a tool used to undermine Yemen’s sovereignty and stability, disrupt basic services, and obstruct the delivery of humanitarian assistance to those in need.

The Minister of Public Health and Population, Dr. Qassem Buhaibah, and the Assistant Undersecretary of Hadhramaut Governorate, Abdul Hadi Al-Tamimi, inaugurated the new Qattan General Hospital building project, which costs 1.517 thousand dollars.
The building, which is located on an area of 2,275 square meters, consists of two floors and a basement that contains six departments: the comprehensive general emergency, the outpatient clinic, the comprehensive obstetric emergency department, operations, banding and radiology.
The Minister also inaugurated two projects to rehabilitate the therapeutic isolation unit Covid-19 in Al-Hayat Hospital in Qattan, familiarizing with the volume of work that has been done to rehabilitate the hospital building, as well as the volume of equipment and tools that were provided at the Therapeutic Isolation Center with the support of the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS).
In addition, Minister Buhaibah inspected the progress of studies at the branch of the Dr. Amin Nasher Institute for Health Sciences in Qattan, praising ts role in supplying the health work system with qualified cadres and raising the efficiency of its professional and service capabilities.
