The Ministry of Human Rights condemned in the strongest terms the treacherous terrorist attack that targeted a security point belonging to the Security Belt Forces in Ahwar District, Abyan Governorate, killing 21 soldiers and wounding others.
A statement issued by the ministry, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), said that these terrorist acts directed against security men aim to destabilize security and stability in the liberated areas, and are brazenly and blatantly engaged with the objectives of the terrorist Houthi militia, stressing that these crimes have not and will not be subject to a statute of limitations, and that the perpetrators of such acts will receive their just punishment in the courts, and that our people and its legitimate institutions will not hesitate to confront its evil plans and goals.
The ministry expressed its condolences to the families of the martyrs and all the people, in this great loss, calling on all security and military agencies to be vigilant, raise the state of readiness, and firmly confront all schemes aimed at harming its members who are sacrificing their lives for the sake of security.
